BP's are frustrating ...

So another feeding day gone by and again one of my female ball python refusing to eat. I know it may just be the time of year or maybe she is just being picky but what the hell! lol Cleo WAS one of our best feeders and now its been almost 7 weeks since her last feed and you can kind of see a bit of weight starting to drop :(, we might be looking at a force feed soon enough, ugh.

On the other hand our other larger female BP continues to eat very well and gain more and more weight :D, a good mate for our Spider next year??? That could be exciting, although we are looking into picking up a few new snakes within the next month or two, possibly a pair of Mojave's and a female pastel. Spider to a Pastel = BUMBLEBEE!! lol I know I am getting ahead of myself but I think that , that is a good reachable goal to start with :), fairly easy to do and a 25% to get one is not bad! Either way we will keep you updated on our progress.

Corns are still cooling for the moment with only a few weeks to go until the breeding season kicks into gear, here are a couple of pics of our newest corns we have on the cooldown!

Corns on the cool down!

We know that it is a little late to start cooling your corn snakes, but we had to wait until our new rack was completed and make sure that their stomach's were empty before we started. We will still be able to keep them brumating for close to two months before we heat them up again and hoping the "mood" will catch them just right!

And today another feeding / weighing day has gone by with all of our snakes moving up in the weight classes. Exciting stuff for next year!
